Season’s Greetings from underneath!

Last year, we were aiming high; this year, in return, we went underground. 🙂

The little town of Traben-Trarbach straddles the river Mosel. Before the outbreak of World War One, it had been the most important trading center for wine – even more significant than Bordeaux. Season’s Greetings from Idar-Oberstein!

it’s not expensive presents that are the best thing about Christmas for me. What I like most, after an eventful year, is having the opportunity – at last! – to spend some time with my family. And this Christmas there’s going to be an addition to that family: a German wire-haired pointer will be joining the Wild clan!

I can hardly wait to get out there with our new dog and roam the wonderful winter landscape of my home region!
